Opened in 2003, Garibaldi continues to offer finely executed seafood, pasta and meat dishes across its à la carte and set menus, alongside an extensive selection of Italian wines. A must-order is the beautifully plated cold angelhair pasta with sweet fresh oysters and Carelian caviar; the dish is sometimes served with sea urchin, prawn tartare and caviar. For pasta fans, there are at least a dozen seafood, meat and vegetablebased choices. The Gar-bonara with egg yolk, ham and Parmesan cheese is rich and intense, while the spaghetti aglio olio, with tiger prawns and bottarga, is also exceptionally flavourful. For desserts, the chef’s mother’s tiramisu recipe incorporates chocolate chips, which lend an interesting texture to the classic dessert. Service is friendly, prompt and attentive.
