Opus Bar & Grill is a laid-back hotel restaurant with a cosy dining atmosphere, suitable for both couples or families. It’s best known for its grilled steaks and seafood, which are cooked over an open-flame grill using charcoal and Jarrah wood. Must-try dishes include the 1kg whisky-aged F1 Wagyu tomahawk, which is a 300-day grain-fed Australian beef with an impressive marble score of five. Its succulent meat delivers a luscious flavour that is brought out by the whisky, but don’t worry about the alcohol overpoweri­ng the taste. This dish can feed four diners comfortabl­y if you’re ordering starters and one or two more main dishes. Another meat dish to try is the 300g Deraza Iberico pork rack, which is tender and so full of natural flavour that you don’t need any dips or sauces to go with it. Non-grilled dishes that we recommend include the hand-cut steak tartare with fries (a classic French dish) and the addictive crab cake, which uses premium crabmeat paired with an earthy celeriac rémoulade and tangy pink grapefruit.
