Triple Three overlooks the bustling Orchard Road and comfortable chairs make dining even more enjoyable in this 280-seat restaurant. The international buffet provides daily dinner delights as well as seafood on ice, salads, soups, dim sum, noodles and pasta. Japanese cuisine is wellrepresented, from sushi and sashimi to yakiniku and tempura. The colourful Indian section, where cauldrons of fragrant curries tempt, offers a variety of freshly prepared bread. The Mandarin Orchard’s well-known baked ham remains a favourite alongside the intensely marbled Kumamoto Wagyu beef and other roast meats, though without accompanying potatoes. Mee swa is recommended for its deliciously fragrant broth and comforting noodles. Desserts are plentiful, while assorted cheese and crackers with condiments complete a satisfying meal. The wine list covers Old and New world varieties, and house pours feature a good selection, served at appropriate temperatures. Busy staff do their best.
