Ellenborou­gh Market Café is home to a wide selection of local classics and elevated renditions of local and internatio­nal cuisine. While there's a lot to savour, it's best to go for signatures like babi pongteh. This Peranakan classic is composed of tender and juicy braised pork cooked in fermented soya bean sauce that's a mouth-watering mix of sweet and savoury. Another popular favourite is a delicious take on the Singapore laksa, featuring plump river prawns and al dente noodles in a rich and spicy coconut curry.
