TATLER SAYS

An elegant Cantonese restaurant with more than a few surprises, this establishm­ent keeps up with food trends—with delicious results. The special ‘Cigar' roll appetiser is a tube of nori filled with black truffle, foie gras and prawn. You immediatel­y get a heady melange of crispy seaweed and creamy shrimp flavours. The smoked jamon Iberico pork char siew is certainly one of the best in town. It's tender, smoky and perfectly caramelise­d. The highlight of the meal, the simmered fish paste with surf clams, dried scallop in supreme rice broth and puffed rice makes for a surprising­ly flavourful treat.
