The restaurant serves up some exceptional

French classics such as onion soup, lobster bisque and escargots de Bourgogne (pleasant and not excessively garlicky) without trying to be too fancy. Other choices are speciality crab salad with green apple espuma and generous amounts of seafood; nicely prepared Hokkaido scallops with leek and cauliflower; the signature lamb saddle with Mediterranean herbs and green peas; the sea bass with ratatouille; and the delightfully delicious tomato and garlic coulis. The ambience is somewhere between a Stephen King novel and the Grand Budapest Hotel, and reflects the multi-purpose nature of the space. Service is friendly, but guests should inform the staff what they need. Overall, the food is solid and well prepared, and the French classics are undoubtedly tried and tested.
