Bay Sands, Bread Street Kitchen by renowned chef Gordon Ramsay holds its own in a variety of lauded celebrity chef restaurants in Singapore for its refined British fare that incorporates local ingredients and flavours to give dishes an innovative twist. Gourmands are welcome to dine at the large but cosy indoor dining space or the casual al fresco area—both with majestic views of the bay. The vista sets the stage for a memorable meal starring Ramsay’s signature dishes; must-tries include fish and chips, or beer-battered lingcod fish from New Zealand that’s served with thick-cut fries, and the beef Wellington. The beef is brushed with English mustard and layered with chicken mousse with tarragon. The wine list is extensive and includes a choice of reds, whites and sparkling wines from notable regions, but the cocktails are just as interesting. The Dill & Tonic—concocted with dillinfused gin, Italicus liqueur, lime and tonic—is highly recommended.
