Como Cuisine serves up international signature favourites from Como Hotels and Resorts, using organic produce where possible, and in-season local ingredients sourced in a sustainable way. This is one of the best places in Singapore for vegetarian and pescatarian cuisine because it’s healthy and fresh, but still sophisticated and indulgent. Dishes are often Asian inspired, but given a healthy, fruity update. Standouts include the restaurant’s signature tandoor cauliflower, which is browned to perfection and served with a delicately spiced yoghurt dip. The snapper curry with fresh coconut, tomato, tamarind, okra and saffron rice is enough for two to share. Local tropical fruits also show up in the show-stopping desserts, which include individual meringues topped with tropical fruits, and an inventive Longan in Perfume Syrup of crushed ice, lemongrass and calamansi. In keeping with this sunny, relaxed space, the service staff are friendly, efficient and well-informed. They make you feel like a guest, not a paying customer.
