Highhouse blends the best of food, art, music and design into one electric package

-

Highhouse has to be one of the hottest restaurant openings in recent memory. Standing tall on the 61st and 62nd floors of One Raffles Place—the second tallest building in Singapore—this transformative day-to-night dining concept blends the best of food, art, music and design into one electric package. Jaw-dropping views of the Padang and Marina Bay are flanked by a towering digital screen which draws you in with captivating, immersive digital artworks that transform and complement the beats of Highhouse’s nightly music programming.

The visionaire behind this sky-scraping culinary retreat (which also encompasses a double-storey main feature bar, a private dining room, a karaoke room, and a champagne room and wine cellar) is industry veteran and general manager Wayne Lee, who orchestrates all things Highhouse, including a dazzling roster of prominent and up-and-coming artists from Singapore and abroad. Both internationally renowned DJS and alternative musical acts are featured in these auditory journeys curated by Lee, allowing guests to immerse themselves in an eclectic world filled with a diversity of sounds ranging from house, techno, disco, hip hop, R&B and more.

Fuel up for a night of dancing with an inventive repertoire of flavours inspired by gastronomical wonders from around the Pacific coast. Developed by executive chef Sam Chin, the menu stars everything from comforting favourites like lobster mac and cheese, to flavour explosions like the whole Korean halibut with fragrant homemade chai poh and the scrumptious Thai massaman curry with sakura pork belly. From the bar, award-winning bar specialist and beverage consultant Jay Gray masterminds a series of signature cocktails.

Quench your thirst with the refreshing Montana Sour with pisco and clarified citrus, finished with a lively key lime foam, or the boozy Sticky Mango Highball with Chalong Bay Thai Agricole. Flutes of champagne are readily available for every joyous occasion.

Whether you’re letting your hair loose on the dancefloor or prefer to drink in the view from an intimate private booth, Highhouse’s pulsating beats, enthralling art, and luscious food will keep you jiving throughout the night.
