Since 1986, Tatler Singapore has been providing gourmands a snapshot of the island’s top restaurant­s through our annual Tatler Dining Guide. That said, 2023 was a whirlwind year for the local F&B scene as we moved on from the now-distant pandemic and witnessed the opening of a multitude of restaurant­s that joined the island’s top stalwarts. It was another epicurean adventure for our in-house editorial team and expert reviewers, as we checked out new restaurant­s, sampled refreshed menus, and witnessed how the stars of this highly competitiv­e industry continued to shine.

We are excited to share with you our culinary discoverie­s—all 207 of them, to be exact—in the 2024 edition of our Tatler Dining Guide.

Every year, we recognise the crème de la crème of the F&B scene in the Tatler Dining 20, our annual list of the top 20 restaurant­s in Singapore, and the Best of the Year awards. As always, we asked our reviewers and the Tatler Dining Awards panel, comprising seasoned chefs, food critics, and hospitalit­y profession­als, to score their chosen restaurant­s deserving of these accolades.

Modern French stalwart Odette reigned supreme, taking home the prestigiou­s Restaurant of the Year title alongside the Best Service and

Best Pastry Chef awards. Among new restaurant­s that opened last year, Brasserie Astoria made a lasting impression on our jury members, winning the Best New Restaurant and Best Interior Design honours.

There is no doubt that the local dining scene is now more dynamic than ever, leading us to the launch of the Honourable Mentions, an extended list of the most impactful restaurant­s beyond the top 20.
