WHAT The new Beosound 1 and 2 wireless speakers by Danish audio visual specialist Bang & Olufsen (B&O) will blow you away with its suave design and technical prowess. In developing the new look of these speakers, B&O’S design team focused on creating a speaker that offers users flexibility in terms of usability, connectivity and placement options. The resulting spherical design puts the speaker light years away from conventional models, but it also adapts easily to any space, making it ideal for the living and bed rooms as well as entertainment areas and even in the kitchen. The battery-powered Beosound 1 is a portable lightweight device and battery-operated for mobility, while the larger Beosound 2, which requires a permanent power connection, produces a more powerful sound quality with greater clarity and distinction.
WHY Apart from its sleek form, the Beosound 1 and 2 also offer stunning features that make these speakers the latest must-have items for any audiophile or tech enthusiast. The aluminium chassis is lifted slightly above the ground, allowing the base to be channelled from below, while the acoustic driver is placed in the top of the speaker, playing into a reflector that creates a spherical and powerful 360-degree sound experience. Beosound 1 and 2 also come with the renowned Acoustic Lens Technology of classic Bang & Olufsen speakers such as Beolab 5 and Beolab 18.
