KNOWN FOR THEIR EASE OF USE AND SLEEK LOOK, THE APPLIANCES OF SWISS BRAND V-ZUG ARE A PERFECT BLEND OF INNOVATION AND USER-FRIENDLY DESIGN
For busy city dwellers, convenience matters—and it’s the combination of intuitive design and smart features that turn household appliances into wonderful multi-taskers that help make daily tasks less of a chore. Swiss brand V-ZUG understands the changing needs of the modern household, and is constantly innovating to bring convenience to the daily lives of urbanites. Founded in 1913, the appliance purveyor harnesses the benefits of steam technology, integrating its engineering know-how with smart features into its household appliances. Celebrating its 105th anniversary this year, the Swiss brand is bringing its luxury appliances to Asia with a series of flagship launches; its Singapore showroom will open at Scotts Square in the fourth quarter of the year. Here, two urbanites share more about how V-ZUG appliances have helped their daily housekeeping while being a seamless part of their way of life.
CULINARY FEAT
Moving from the Netherlands to Singapore has been a breeze for Corina, who relocated to the city together with her family of four. Aided by the V-ZUG appliances in her apartment at Ardmore
Residence condominium, Corina enjoys whipping up healthy dishes with the oven; the induction and gas hobs have also created plenty of cooking options for the family. The streamlined design of these appliances is an added bonus: “I really like the sleek design, and I’m very happy with all of the appliances.” Punita, a resident at the Hana condominium, similarly has enjoyed the convenience of these kitchen appliances. “The V-ZUG appliances have been very easy to use—the signage is very intuitive and easy to understand,” shares the mother of two, who had previously lived in Tokyo with her family.
EASY DOES IT
Going beyond technical innovation, V-ZUG prides itself on the consistent quality and timeliness of its after-sales service—all enquiries are addressed within 24 hours, and loan units are provided should the product require an extended period of repair. “We had to get the washing machine and dryer, which is used a lot, serviced,” recalls Punita. “It was pretty quick and we didn’t have to call again and again to get the technician to help us.” The Swiss appliance manufacturer will also conduct regular culinary classes at its new showroom, which both Corina and Punita plan to attend. “When my kids are older, they can join in; it’s very close to our home too,” shares Corina. Punita agrees: “It sounds very exciting—we don’t cook Indian food every day, and the rest of the time we’re trying out different cuisines.”
