CHECK MATE

By adapting the utilitarian design of the metal cabinet, the Chess collection by German industrial designer Konstantin Grcic for Magis celebrates an imaginative mix of metal and wood. Created in collaboration with metal cabinet-maker Fami, the collection pairs handles and a base in solid oak with powder-coated cabinets in wine red and white. Each cabinet features either sliding doors or pull-out drawers, and can be used as a single storage unit or as a collection of cabinets in various heights and configurations.
