LUNAR MAGIC

Held during the Euroluce lighting fair at Milan Design Week, The Theory of Light exhibition by Czech firm Lasvit showcased its latest novelties, while exploring the creative possibilities of glasswork through experiments in colour spectrum, reflective elements and the ways that the material is perceived. New collections include Aura by product designer Mária Čulenová-hostinová (above), which features a constellation of glass pieces that alludes to the surface of the moon. “You only see things when light rays bounce or are reflected off them,” she says, discussing the reflective elements of her installation, which can be made bespoke upon request for homes and various spaces.
