One of Dema’s best-selling collections is Fly Light, a sofa system by Italian industrial designer Gianfranco Gualtierotti. Before establishing his eponymous studio in 1977, the award-winning designer spent his formative years designing seats for commercial jets and presidential aircraft, and perfecting the mechanics behind some of Italy’s most beloved sofas.
Featuring painted metal frames and polyurethane foam padding covered in bonded acrylic fibre,
Fly Light is made to be durable and, as its name suggests, light. The collection features a generous depth of 120cm, making it ideal for naps when used as a daybed, and a slim frame that creates an impression of floating. The cover is available in leather or fabric, and it is fully removable for quick and easy maintenance.
The collection offers sofa units, a chaise longue unit, curved end units, poufs, and semi-circular and circular units for you to choose from.
