In designing the Surf modular sofa system for Molteni&c | Dada, Canadian studio Yabu Pushelberg looked to the seas for inspiration. “With Surf, we sat in a beach house looking at the waves, and then we started to sketch them. The final design has that kind of f luidity and undulation to it,” say George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, cofounders of the firm. The collection combines curvaceous forms with a sloping backrest that makes the sofa both ergonomic and elegant. Available at P5, p5.com.sg
