Scandinavian design duo Hee Welling and Gudmundur Ludvik of Welling/ludvik have designed chairs with a tear-resistant soft shell made of 100 per cent upcycled polypropylene. A project three years in the making, these Pato chairs from Fredericia feature a subtle bevelled edge and are finished by hand. Since its successful launch in 2013, this collection now offers frames in wood, steel or painted steel, with the option of having the chair upholstered in fabric or leather.
