Liebherr takes food preservation to new frontiers with the Monolith built-in refrigerator and freezer

With over 60 years of engineering expertise, you could say Liebherr has an impressive presence in the field of premium quality cooling and refrigeration technologies. That’s why it’s no surprise that the German brand has come up with a mammoth offering of their own, dubbed the Monolith.

The clean lines of the 2.1m-tall Monolith allow it to integrate seamlessly into your modern kitchen. With its whisper-quiet operation and soft-closing doors, it makes little to no noise in the background while you’re entertaining guests.

But that’s not all when it comes to its impressive features. Making its debut in 1996, Biofresh was a breakthrough innovation. Each drawer has independent climate controls so that the food in your fridge retains its nutrition, aroma and appearance for longer than it would in conventional refrigerators. It also features a high humidity compartment for fruits and vegetables, a low humidity section for meats and cheeses, as well as a Biofresh-plus drawer which can go as low as -2°C, and is ideal for fish and seafood.

The Monolith’s Infinityspring water dispenser feature is another highlight. The f lush-mounted dispenser is equipped with a filtration system that gets rid of contaminants and is able to accommodate pitchers of any size.

The doors of the Monolith series can be customised to match your interior scheme. Opt for the classic stainless steel fronts by Liebherr or create customised panels in other materials of your choice.

To complete its sleek look, choose between the rounded handle with a stainless steel finish or the brushed aluminium handle, which features either square or soft-edged contours.
