SAFE AND SOUND
The stone surfaces from Italian manufacturer Antolini incorporate Azerobact plus, a protective treatment that shields natural stones from the proliferation of bacteria. The antibacterial layer does not affect the tactility of marble and natural stone, enabling these surfaces to be used in the kitchen and dining room. Treated surfaces are also protected against UV rays, minimising the chances of colour degradation. Cleaning is a breeze; simply wipe the countertop with gentle soap and water to disinfect it.
Other collections to consider include Protect, a range of high-performance f loor and wall tiles with antimicrobial properties. Developed by Italian manufacturer Panariagroup in conjunction with Microban, the antimicrobial layer uses silver as a key component and can be applied on ceramic tiles.
