Chile is one of the hottest regions for great wines at reasonable prices, writes James Suckling. Pinot noir seems to be the grape type really excelling, offering quality similar to Burgundy, while cabernet blends continue to make the top wines. Here are 10 of the country’s best

The aromas are super, with blackcurrant, rose petal, mint, lavender and stone. A full body, incredible fruit density, complex, yet agile and bright. Tannins are perfectly polished. A Bordeaux blend from biodynamically grown grapes. Better in 2019.
