How do you commemorate a decade of romance? At Singapore Tatler Weddings, we say do it with some rip-roaring action! Guests at this year’s Celebration of Love, which also marks the luxury wedding magazine’s 10th anniversary, would agree that the highlight of the evening was the high-octane entrance of four of society’s blissfully married ladies on the back of a growling Vespa. Applause rang out as the handsome machine glided down the aisle of Capella Singapore’s magnificently decked ballroom, joining Dana Cheong, Trina Liang-lin, Loh May-han and Ginny Wiluan with their smiling husbands under a gazebo. The event was marked by warm speeches by Capella Singapore general manager Alejandro Helbling, Edipresse Media Singapore managing director Corinne Ng and editor-in-chief Jane Ngiam. A moving video documenting the love story of the four couples shot in Bulgari Resort Bali drew gasps and coos, and even left some teary-eyed. If the video had attached singles yearning to tie the knot and married couples wanting to renew their vows, they found style inspiration to do just that in the stunning gowns showcase by Alisha & Lace. The festivities continued with dinner, tipple, photo-taking and plenty of fun before guests left with a souvenir of the evening: the latest issue of Singapore Tatler Weddings, hot off the press!
