HONG KONG CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTRE NOVEMBER 23 TO 28 Christie’s hosts a series of day and evening auctions at the end of this month selling everything from jewellery and watches to wine and Chinese calligraphy. The highlight of the auction series is the painting Wood and Rock (below) by Su Shi (who lived from 1037 to 1101), which is hailed by experts as one of the world’s rarest Chinese paintings. The estimate for the 1,000-year-old scroll is more than US$51M. christies.com
