Crystal Jade has spared no effort to ramp up its gourmet offerings for the Lunar New Year. Whether you are dining at one of its exquisitel­y designed restaurant­s or indulging in its takeaway delights in the comfort of your own home, there is no shortage of tasty options this festive season to satisfy your inner gourmand.

Created by Crystal Jade’s group executive chef Martin Foo and his team, the dishes have been thoughtful­ly conceived to reflect the dining concepts of each restaurant. At Crystal Jade Palace, located at Takashimay­a Shopping Centre, for example, chef Foo’s renowned culinary skill is evident in the luxurious menu. The pan-fried tiger prawn with prawn paste and chardonnay cream sauce will leave you wanting more, while the Hakka yam abacus seeds with Boston lobster showcases traditiona­l cooking techniques to great effect.

If you are after a more modern ambience, stop by Crystal Jade Pavilion, the F&B group’s latest outpost at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. Here, the braised cod fish sphere in golden thick soup with ibérico ham, which is a unique take on Shanghaine­se meatballs, is a must-try. For something more familiar, head to Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen, which has a number of outlets across the island, including Great World City, where baskets full of piping hot dim sum will warm the hearts and stomachs of family and friends visiting during the Lunar New Year.

If you are expecting guests this festive season, Crystal Jade has come up with a bundle that will make hosting get-togethers more convenient. From the delectable abalone treasure pot to the salt‑baked dang gui chicken, everyone would want to savour every bite. Of course, the chefs have also prepared a prosperity golden lobster yusheng. An enticing array of colours, flavours and textures, Crystal Jade’s version of the dish offers a refreshing taste that is lighter on the palate, but no less bountiful in its blessings.
