ALL EYES

Beloved British eyewear label Linda Farrow joins forces with Paco Rabanne this month on a retro line of sunglasses inspired by the film Thelma & Louise and its iconic scenes of Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon speeding through the desert in a convertible. The collection features hues of cherry, pink and blue, and oversized frames.

BREAKING MOULDS

Featuring abstract prints that creative director Kris Van Assche designed in collaboration with ceramic artist Brian Rochefort, Berluti’s spring-summer 2021 collection is dominated by striking hues and volcanic textures. While the collaboration is Rochefort’s first foray into fashion, it demonstrates Van Assche’s continued interest in art and interiors, after he launched home and office accessories for Berluti earlier this year.

SPEED RACER

In a sporty departure from its classic tailoring past, Dunhill launches the Abrasion Capsule Collection this month, inspired by the metallic patterns found on cars after the top layer of paint is removed. The 13-piece line-up includes reversible bomber jackets, jersey pieces and even a cigarette lighter, all tricked out in the splashy print.

HEY, PUNK!

In an unexpected, sure-to-sell-out collaboration, Stella Mccartney taps Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara for her spring-summer 2021 collection. Nara’s famous cheeky cartoons can be found on knitted skirts and graphic silk sets, and phrases such as “We Are Punks” or “Change the History” are seen on tops and accessories. In keeping with Mccartney’s ethos, the collection is 100 per cent sustainably made and not categorised by gender.
