FARM TO TABLE
Foodies who find themselves struggling with eco-anxiety can get started on rearing their own crabs with Onhand Agrarian’s Stackquaculture system, which comes with seven stackable boxes, pumps and ultraviolet sterilisers. Amateur farmers will first be given three mud crabs, three flower crabs, mussels prawns and seaweed— with each playing a specific role in creating a symbiotic ecosystem for the crabs to grow, before you can harvest them. The system was first conceived to make crab farming accessible to the masses and eventually boost Singapore’s food security.
