This third and final instalment of Eisa Jocson’s Happyland series is a hybrid performance that sheds light on complex issues related to freedom of movement, exploitation and cultural identity. Four Filipino performers and Germany-based musician Charlotte Simon hijack the Disney theme park experience, which is typically reliant on Filipino talents for the public’s entertainment, to reject established routines in the industry and express a collective desire for change.
