ADRIAN PANG
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR AND CO-FOUNDER, PANGDEMONIUM AWARD-WINNING TELEVISION AND MOVIE ACTOR, AND ACCOMPLISHED THEATRE PRACTITIONER
Adrian Pang, artistic director and co-founder of Singaporean theatre company Pangdemonium, has more than 25 years of experience performing on both stage and screen in Singapore and the UK. He set up Pangdemonium with his wife, Tracie, in 2010, aiming to challenge ideas, provoke debate and inspire action.
Pang graduated from Keele University with a degree in law and psychology in 1991, and worked as an actor in the UK for the next eight years. He made a name acting in productions such as A Christmas Carol and The Magic Fundoshi, and also played parts in television series such as
The Fragile Heart with Sir Nigel Hawthorne as well as movies such as Tony Scott’s Spy Game with Brad Pitt and Robert Redford, and Night Watch with Pierce Brosnan.
Pang relocated to Singapore in 2001, and took on various roles on local television and on stage; his oeuvre includes title roles in The LKY Musical and Macbeth. He has earned numerous Best
Actor nominations at the Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards, and clinched Best Actors wins for his work
in productions such as The LKY Musical, Much Ado About Nothing and Rabbit Hole, among others.
Pang is the father of two sons, Zachary and Xander, both of whom have already cut their teeth on stage as theatre actors.
