Annoushka Ducas believes that jewellery should be like relationships: versatile yet enduring, and something that evolves with time. To coincide with her eponymous brand’s boutique opening in Hong Kong’s Ocean Center, the British jeweller has launched her first bridal collection, which she’s called Love & Commitment. “My husband John and

I met in Hong Kong more than 30 years ago, and we lived there together for three years,” Ducas tells Tatler. “Ever since then, I’ve been intoxicated by the city’s extraordinary energy.” On her wedding day, Ducas wore jewellery she designed herself and she even created her own engagement ring, which she still wears 31 years later. “My engagement ring can only be worn one way, so I wanted to design bridal pieces that can be as playful as my other collections,” she says of Love & Commitment, which includes solitaire, three‑stone and five‑stone designs, all of which can be stacked for completely different looks. After all, Ducas adds, “modern brides seek investment pieces that they can wear long after their wedding day”.
