In the Victorian era, flowers were used to convey “confidential” messages: daffodils for new beginnings, tulips for passion. It was a secret between the receiver and the giver, one imbued with meaning and emotion.

Chaumet continues this tradition of sentimentality with its Les Acrostiches Jeux de Liens collection, which uses stones to convey a message. Each letter is represented by a stone whose name begins with the corresponding alphabet. Aquamarine, for instance, signifies “a”, while ruby denotes “r”. The customisable bracelets are currently available at the Chaumet boutique at 12 Vendôme, Paris.
