Now that we have entered into a new year and have thoroughly enjoyed all the festive goodies, it is time to pay a little bit more attention to our bodies and maintain, or move on to, a healthy lifestyle. Plus, the Lunar New Year is just a few more weeks ahead and those who celebrate would definitely want to look their best for that.

One of the best ways to look your best is to have a professional guide to motivate you towards doing all that you need to do. With that in mind, Options has test-driven UFit’s brand-new integrated health and fitness hub on 21 Club Street, just down the road from Ann Siang Hill.

The integrated hub is a one-stop destination for health and fitness, and unites UFit’s core offerings of personal training, group exercise, physiotherapy and nutrition under one roof. It even has its own cafe next door.

What most people tend to do is clock-in a good workout and then “reward” themselves with a calorieladen meal, which is counter-productive to their fitness routine.

At UFit, apart from having a personal trainer who will be customising a workout routine and schedule for you, there is also an in-house nutritionist who would advise you on the foods you should and should not eat in order to achieve your fitness goals.

The problem with eating out while trying to keep fit is that you are not fully aware of what goes into the food that you order. That is why, as part of UFit’s effort to enhance the entire end-to-end fitness journey, the Club Street hub also comes with a restaurant – Burn – adjacent to the gym. Burn sports a carefully curated F&B menu and features a wood-fire oven for grilled meats and pizza. You can rest assured that the foods served there are of the best quality.

In addition, UFit’s new integrated hub provides clients with access to sports medicine and a physiotherapist. This is especially helpful for those with previous injuries.

The UFit hub is optimised for data collection to better aid members in their fitness journeys. One way that UFit has incorporated technology into its wellness coaching technique is by creating a bespoke online coaching platform that will enable UFit trainers and professionals to better guide and influence clients on their fitness journey. The platform also includes tools such as full-body scanners and health and performance screenings.

The data collected from the platform will give trainers more individual insights into their clients, allowing them to better tailor their offerings and better advise their clients.
