Pathway of progression at KinderWorld
KinderWorld International Group company operates 16 campuses in eight cities in Vietnam, offering through-train education from kindergarten, to high school and university foundation. Altogether, KinderWorld has 3,700 students and employs 600 teachers. Specifically, the company runs five KinderWorld International Kindergartens, nine Singapore International School campuses and two Pegasus International Colleges campuses. This footprint makes KinderWorld the largest owner-operator of foreign-invested international schools business in Vietnam.
The through-train programme from kindergarten to pre-university is based on internationally-accredited curriculum. For instance, KinderWorld offers the iPSLE, which is operated by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB), in three of its Singapore International Schools in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Danang.
The Singapore International Schools in Vietnam offer the International Programme from Year 1 to Year 12. From Year 1 to Year 8, subjects studied follow the Singapore standard with content and skills, similar to those being promoted by the Ministry of Education of Singapore. In Year 9 and Year 10, students complete the twoyear Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) exam. Thereafter, students can either undertake the Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level at Year 11 and Cambridge International Advanced Level at Year 12 or or the NCC International Foundation Diploma Programme in Year 11.
