Yan celebrates springtime with the brand- new “vegetablef­orward” Joy of Spring a la carte menu, available till May 31.

Usher in the start of a new season with light, flavoursom­e dishes, showcasing the best of Cantonese cuisine. Created in partnershi­p with Green Monday, a social enterprise that aims to inspire sustainabl­e living and bring awareness to the benefits of green diets, the plant-based dishes are sure to charm diners.

Highlights include the Sautéed King Oyster Mushrooms with Celtuce Stems and Olive Vegetables ($22++), a vegetarian-friendly dish that offers a symphony of textures.

The Poached Sliced Beef with Bean Sprouts, Enoki Mushrooms and XO Sauce ($36++) beckons with sliced beef on a bed of beansprout­s, enoki mushrooms, julienned scallions and red bell peppers. Garnished with ginger and parsley, the refreshing flavours are brought together by Yan’s house-made XO sauce.

Look out for the Steamed Beancurd with Minced Omni Meat and Pickled Vegetables ($20++), a vegetarian rendition of the classic steamed tofu with minced pork. Silky beancurd is adorned with minced Omni pork and pickled lettuce in a savoury gravy and garnished with chopped spring onions.

• Oasis Bundle ($150)

Brilliantl­y paired with freshly made barbecue and Thai chilli sauce, this bundle includes a lamb rack from Roaring Forties (900g), prime rib beef from Yulgilbar (1kg), pork chorizo (1kg) and Spencer Gulf king prawns (1kg).

• mezza9 Bundle ($140)

With good-quality meats being the core of a good roast, this bundle includes a barramundi from Kühlbarra (1kg), lamb leg from Roaring Forties (2.5kg) and a beef strip loin from Yulgilbar (1kg), along with mezza9’s dry rub seasoning and remoulade sauce.

• Organic Vegetable Bundle (1kg for $15, 2kg for $30)

A mixed bundle of organic vegetables that comes in 1kg or 2kg. These packages contain a seasonal mix of vegetables grown in an organic and ethically driven farm located in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia, by Weeds and More.
