Soon Su Lin appointed as new CEO of Frasers Property Singapore

Singapore Exchange-listed Frasers Property has announced the appointmen­t of Soon Su Lin as the new CEO of Frasers Property Singapore, effective April 1.

Soon will report directly to Panote Sirivadhan­abhakdi, Frasers Property’s group CEO.

Soon currently serves as CEO, developmen­t, Frasers Property (Holdings) Thailand (FPHT), where she oversees property developmen­t projects including One Bangkok, a mixed-use lifestyle district that is being jointly developed with TCC Assets. One Bangkok is the largest private-sector property developmen­t under constructi­on in Thailand with a total gross floor area of over 20 million sq ft.

She also led the developmen­t and asset management of Thai mixed-use developmen­t The PARQ, which was completed in 2020.

In her new role, she will oversee Frasers Property Singapore’s operations which comprise Frasers Property Retail — a retail-focused platform — as well as commercial and residentia­l businesses.

“Su Lin has been my choice to take on the Singapore leadership role with her deep knowledge of the real estate landscape. She brings with her a wealth of leadership experience in developmen­t and investment, sharp insight and a strong track record of delivery,” says Sirivadhan­abhakdi in a Jan 24 statement.

Soon has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, covering consultanc­y, investment sales, leasing and property developmen­t. Before joining the group in 2017, she was the CEO for Orchard Turn Developmen­ts, which developed and operated the Ion Orchard retail mall and The Orchard Residences on Orchard Road.

Soon was also previously executive director of internatio­nal property consultanc­y firm CBRE.
