Knight Frank opens fourth Private Office globally with latest expansion in Singapore

- By Atiqah Mokhtar

Knight Frank has opened a Private Office in Singapore, marking its fourth one globally. It will be led by Nicholas Keong, former head of prime sales at Knight Frank Singapore.

The expansion comes not long after the launch of Knight Frank’s Private Office in New York in December 2021. In a Feb 22 statement, Knight Frank says the move is a testament to its strategy to be the market-leading global private client and family office adviser in real estate.

With private client teams now covering residential and commercial sectors in the UK, the Middle East and New York, the Singapore Private Office has been established to capitalise on existing and new relationships with key family offices and ultra-high-net-worth-individuals (UHNWIs) in the market.

According to The Knight Frank Wealth Report 2021, the number of UHNWIs in Singapore will grow by 31% over the next five years. In addition, there are almost 250 family offices that have been registered in the market since the start of 2020 and almost 400 variable capital companies present.

“Through our Private Office team, Knight Frank’s private clients will benefit from one point of contact across both residential and commercial property markets, high-quality service and a long-term consistent relationship,” says Keong.

He will work closely with Knight Frank’s global Private Office network, set up in 2018 by Rory Penn and Thomas van Straubenzee, through which clients will have access to the collective experience of Knight Frank in 57 markets around the world. — Compiled
