Go back in time to ancient Greece at a new exhibition, The Inventions of Ancient Greece: Origins of Our Modern Technology. Learn about the science behind more than 40 ancient Greek inventions that span across a multitude of disciplines including automation, programming, astronomy, time keeping and music. Visitors will also be treated to daily science shows on ancient Greek inventions at 12.30pm and 4.30pm. This exhibition will run till March 17 next year. Join travellers camping at Yellowknife, Canada, as they await the elusive appearance of the beautiful dancing lights of the Aurora Borealis. Learn scientific facts about the Northern Lights and witness their grandeur in 4K resolution on South-east Asia’s first 8K digital dome theatre. Travel to the coldest part of Europe and recount the classic tale of Hansel and Gretel. Listen to Christmas carols by a cappella singers, and experience a snowfall and even a snow blizzard. Don’t forget to participate in the interactive storytelling of this lovely and timeless tale for the young and old. Experience free-fall at Singapore’s first Giant J slide. Have loads of fun crafting LED cards and flywheels that animate drawings among other fun activities.
