Dynamism defines IWC’s Portugieser Tourbillon Mystere Retrograde, a 44.2mm statement piece shown here in red gold. Firstly, there’s the constant rotation of the sixtyminute tourbillon at 12 o’clock. Then, there’s the movement of the retrograde day display at the bottom left of the dial – which automatically jumps back to the top after 31 days. On the right, a seven-day power reserve indicator shows the user when the energy on this automatic timepiece is running low.
