The U.S. Em­bassy in Sin­ga­pore cel­e­brated Amer­ica’s In­de­pen­dence Day at Gar­dens by the Bay on July 4. The event opened with the U.S. Marine Corps Colour Guard cer­e­mony and re­marks by Charge d’Af­faires ad in­terim Stephanie Syptak-Ram­nath, and Sin­ga­pore’s Se­nior Min­is­ter of State for De­fence and for For­eign Af­fairs, Mo­hamad Ma­liki Os­man. The worl­drenowned Philadel­phia Boys Choir sang the US and Sin­ga­pore na­tional an­thems.
