HOUSE OF PLENTY

Ann Siang Hill’s new boutique hotel welcomes you to stay for a drink, and for the night.

-

There’s a lot to see, do, eat and drink on Ann Siang Hill, and the soon-to-be emblematic boutique hotel Ann Siang House clearly wants to embody that spirit wholeheartedly. Because now that its second phase is complete, there is a lot to see, do, eat and drink within the heritage building as well.

Passers-by will already be familiar with its ground floor tenant, White Label, which serves coffee and craft beers in a record store and bar concept, and possibly also its basement pizzeria, Blue Label Pizza & Wine. But, if you head upstairs, you’ll find one of the largest collections of rose wines hidden away in Pandora’s Garden, Singapore’s first rose bar. Its selection starts from accessible bottles like the Stella Bella Pink Muscat and goes all the way up to the immensely popular and famously expensive Whispering Angel “Garrus”.

Head farther up and you’ll reach The Other Roof, appropriately named not just for its location (since Pandora’s Garden is also on a roof ), but also as a casual spinoff from The Marriott’s excellent speakeasy, The Other Room. Both were conceptualised by awardwinning bartender Dario Knox and, in true Knox style, no spirits are left un-tinkered. But, unlike The Other Room’s cask and spice finishes, all the spirits here are infused with tea. Guests can now also make their own mimosas, by picking from a selection of cold-brew teas with which to top up their bubbly. 28 Ann Siang Road.
