IN THEIR ELEMENT
Be immersed in the latest dive watches that are designed for braving watery depths or simply buoying your spirits.
NEW WAVE
The Omega Seamaster 300 returns in a slimmer, cleaner form. Powered by the Calibre 8912, which is Metas-certified for exceptional magnetic resistance, precision and performance, the 41mm steel watch boasts a slew of aesthetic updates: a sandwich dial for greater legibility, a return to the model’s lollipop-style seconds hand and a slimmer profile thanks to a new domed sapphire crystal, and a sleeker bracelet.
RELEVANT REFRESH
Audemar Piguet’s new Royal Oak Offshore Diver collection, including the khaki reference shown here, gets meaningful updates. This 42mm steel model is powered by a new automatic movement, Calibre 4308, which features a patented setting mechanism. On the outside, the new divers now feature newly designed faceted hour markers and a quick-change strap system.
SINGULAR SHAPE
With its Skafander dive watch, Franck Muller offers fans an alternative to the round dive timepiece. Made of blackened titanium, this self-winding model is relatively lightweight despite measuring an imposing 57 by 45.8mm. It features an internal rotating bezel that moves forward in one- or five-minute intervals, controlled by the two pushers at 8 and 10 o’clock respectively.
FOR ALL TERRAIN
The Panerai Submersible Blu Notte is the first 42mm Submersible with a striking metal bracelet that is inspired by the brand’s crownprotection device. Even though the slim P.900 automatic movement gives the watch a refined profile, it is still great for diving, thanks to its highly legible dial, unidirectional ceramic bezel and 300m depth rating.
TOUGH TRIBUTE
In 1978, the Heuer Ref. 844 was released, marking the start of Tag Heuer’s dive watch history.
The watch had a red 24-hour scale, lumed hour markers and a rotating diver’s bezel. Now, the brand honours this icon with the limited-edition Aquaracer Professional 300 Tribute to Ref. 844. It's housed in a 43mm grade 5 titanium case and powered by the automatic Calibre 5.
BRONZE AGE
Tudor launches its first bronze bracelet on the new bronze version of the Black Bay Fifty-Eight. The aluminium bronze used by the brand is 1.5x harder than other similar types. The bracelet also features a new clasp with a micro-adjustment system. The 39mm timepiece is powered by the COSC-certified in-house calibre MT5400.
DRESSY DIVER
Who says a hardworking dive watch can’t be a little flashy? Not Ulysse Nardin, which has gussied up this latest addition to its Diver range with rose-gold detailing. Powered by a COSC-certified automatic in-house movement, the 44mm timepieces comes in a blue PVD titanium case with a rose-gold and rubberised unidirectional rotating bezel. It has a depth rating of 300m.
