While she looks every inch the modern woman, Carrasco is not averse to taking a leaf from traditional Asian metaphysics when getting dressed. For our shoot, she picked a halter top in an autumnal hue, matching it with cargo-style trousers. She explains, “I was told that I should wear colours associated with fire and water, so I chose this because its orange tones remind me of fire. It’s supposed to bring out a sense of energy and boldness.”
