WITH A BANG

Hublot expands its popular watch families.

01 YELLOW GOLD

Our mantra has always been to wear gold like you mean it, so we were thrilled when Hublot released its Yellow Gold collection of six timepieces that honour the brand’s origins. It was the first to combine a gold watch with a rubber strap back in 1980. Among its key models are the Big Bang Unico (in yellow gold as well as two other diamond-set versions), the Classic Fusion Chronograph (pictured), the Big Bang Integral, and the tonneau-shaped Spirit of Big Bang.

02 BIG BANG SANG BLEU II

Hublot and Sang Bleu—arguably the most successful collaboration between a watch brand and a tattoo artist—are entering their seventh year of working together. The original Sang Bleu pieces were launched in 2016, but in 2019, their partnership shifted to the next level with the release of the Sang Bleu II in King Gold or titanium. The Sang Bleu II models are more detailed and feature the geometric patterns of tattoo artist Maxime Plescia-Buchi across their cases, hexagonal bezels, sapphire crystal, hands and straps. This year, Hublot’s three new editions include a scratch-resistant Magic Gold model, green ceramic model (pictured) and a black ceramic model.

03 BIG BANG INTEGRAL TIME ONLY

The latest of the Big Bang Integral might appeal to you if you liked the look of the earlier models, but found the 42mm size too large, or the chronograph redundant. The 40mm Big Bang Integral Time Only is available in black ceramic, titanium or yellow gold, and is powered by an MHUB1710 automatic movement, based on an Elite movement by sister brand Zenith. Visible through the openworked dial, the movement is satin-finished to enhance legibility, while the bracelet features links with both satin and polished finishes. The ceramic edition is limited to 250 pieces, as is the case with other Hublot All Black models.
