LIMITED EDITION 1

Precious gems, a barrel and cap in white gold, and handcrafted details distinguish the most exclusive and unique piece in the collection. Highlighting the lofty goal of summiting Mont Blanc, a miniature grisaille enamel painting encircles the cap. On the lower part of the cap, diamonds and sapphires are abundant, mimicking how icy mountains meet blue skies.

LIMITED EDITION 5

Marquetry, which involves inlaying tiny pieces of materials to form patterns, gives this fivepiece rose gold limited edition a mix of tones and textures.

The barrel features seven types of wood set in a pattern inspired by the Savoy rosette, a traditional decoration in the Savoy region. The clip is a mini replica of an alpenstock and axe, tools used by the first Mont Blanc climbers.

LIMITED EDITION 10

While this 10-piece edition is mostly made of yellow or white gold, its cap also features granite from Mont Blanc itself. A solid white gold overlay depicting the Mont Blanc massif surrounds the natural rock surface. The cap also features a micro painting of Jacques Balmat, a tribute to the miniature portraits that were all the rage in the 18th century.

LIMITED EDITION 86

It is likely that Balmat would have carried his leather-bound diary on the expedition in 1786. That’s why the barrel of this edition is covered with leather, embossed with an excerpt from his account of that historical day. The Limited Edition 86 also has a walnut wood cap, featuring engravings of alpine ibex and chamois, which live on the slopes of Mont Blanc.
