Born and raised in Tokyo, Ja­pan, Keiko pur­sued her pas­sion for pas­try in Paris, where she at­tended nu­mer­ous culi­nary schools in­clud­ing the Ritz Es­coffier

School, the Lenôtre Culi­nary School and the Bel­louet Con­seil Gas­tro­nomic School. Over the years, she’s cut her teeth at sev­eral renowned bak­eries such as Le Tri­om­phe bak­ery, and even set up her own bak­ing school ate­lier K when she re­turned to Ja­pan. In this is­sue, she shares a hand­ful of cake recipes ex­tracted from her book Sutek­ina Okashi, a fol­lowon ti­tle to her best­selling Okashi: Sweet Treats Made with Love.
