Double Pagoda was established in the late 1980s to introduce sesame oil to a modern market.
The labels and concepts target younger generations of home cooks after convenience and easy applications. Packed in 150ml and 250ml bottles, Double Pagoda Pure Sesame Oil is popular among young families.
In the early 2000s, Double Pagoda introduced a series of speciality oils (see products below), which are designed to replace actual condiments in everyday recipes. Each of the speciality oils uses natural extracts to deliver maximum taste and flavour. There are six unique flavours available including Garlic, Szechuan Pepper and Ginger.
Double Pagoda also introduced roasted sesame seeds in retail packs to cater to the growing market demand for good quality roasted sesame seeds.
Over the years, the brand continues to evolve to meet the demands of the modern market. In 2014, Double Pagoda changed its packaging with new easy-to-pour bottles featuring non-drip caps. This proved extremely popular with consumers as the oil is kept fresh and it ensured a grease-free bottle in the kitchen.
