The hole story

Wine & Dine Cookbook - - KITCHEN HACKS -

Heating up a big bowl of sauced spaghetti can be tricky, no matter how good your microwave oven is. To avoid a sizzling hot edge and a still-cold middle (and to save yourself from having to stir and microwave the dish a couple of times just to get it to the right temperature), shape the pasta like a doughnut. Having that hole in the middle will ensure that the dish gets heated all the way through.
