Pro tips from paediatrician Theodric Lee to help your kid sleep better:
• Avoid bright lights
– from the TV, computer screens or smartphones – two hours before sleep.
• Keep a regular and consistent bedtime.
• Establish a bedtime routine.
Spend about 20 to 30 minutes enjoying three to four relaxing activities before bedtime. For example, brushing teeth, praying, reading a book.
• Reserve the bedroom only for sleep.
Keep the TV out of the bedroom. Don’t do homework, read or use smartphones in bed.
