The Mandarin Orchard Singapore has given its mooncakes a Japanese spin this year.

The new Limited Edition Mini Baked Mooncakes, made with ingredients from Japan, come in flavours such as matcha red bean, white kidney bean, chestnut and purple potato.

The Mini Snow Skin selection features equally original flavours, such as white chocolate and yam, red wine cranberry paste with Japanese yuzu and lemongrass, matcha red bean, and lychee martini and chocolate.

The hotel has also brought back its popular Signature Baked Mooncake With Mixed Nuts And Jamon Iberico, which replaces the traditional Jinhua ham. The result is an explosion of sweet and savoury flavours with every bite.

Another hot favourite is the classic baked white lotus paste mooncake with single or double yolks.

Those watching their diet can opt for the healthier Macadamia Nuts And Low Sugar White Lotus Paste mooncake.
