RESTAURANTE PARREIRINHA
BEST FOR Group functions or parties featuring authentic Portuguese cuisine. FOOD Order a selection of items to sample around the table. The rissóis de camarão (prawn cakes), chorizo, livers and squid as entrées are superb, or try a Parreirinha platter. The caldo verde (collard greens and potato soup) is amazing. For mains, the restaurant is known for its prawn dishes, including prawn curry and grilled prawns and chips. The Bacalhau à Brás (salted codfish) is superb, as is the steak trinchado cassarola. For a sweet treat with your coffee, spoil yourself with a crème caramel and a Parreirinha barril de nata (their special barrel-shaped pasteis de nata). DRINKS There’s a fabulous selection of well-priced local wines and some Portuguese wines. There are also beers, shooters, coffees, don pedros, spirits and a cigar menu. SERVICE The experienced staff know their food and offer excellent service.
