BEST FOR Group functions or parties featuring authentic Portuguese cuisine. FOOD Order a selection of items to sample around the table. The rissóis de camarão (prawn cakes), chorizo, livers and squid as entrées are superb, or try a Parreirinh­a platter. The caldo verde (collard greens and potato soup) is amazing. For mains, the restaurant is known for its prawn dishes, including prawn curry and grilled prawns and chips. The Bacalhau à Brás (salted codfish) is superb, as is the steak trinchado cassarola. For a sweet treat with your coffee, spoil yourself with a crème caramel and a Parreirinh­a barril de nata (their special barrel-shaped pasteis de nata). DRINKS There’s a fabulous selection of well-priced local wines and some Portuguese wines. There are also beers, shooters, coffees, don pedros, spirits and a cigar menu. SERVICE The experience­d staff know their food and offer excellent service.
