BEST FOR Fun dining in a stylish environmen­t. FOOD Kick off with the likes of fresh West Coast mussels in a white wine, coconut cream and chilli sauce, or opt for Asian-style grilled tuna with ginger and chilli, served with a saffron aioli. For the less adventurou­s, there's a grilled beef salad with piquanté peppers, cherry tomatoes and feta, or the vegetarian chickpea burger will hit the spot. Mains run the gamut from chermoula-marinated lamb shank with mashed potato to steak with potato bake and carrot purée and line fish with asparagus and lemon-butter sauce. Only two sweets: chocolate malva pudding or a berry-and-cardamom cheesecake. DRINKS The estate's own very drinkable wines, available by the glass and bottle, as well as soft drinks, spirits and beers. SERVICE Friendly and attentive.
