Court reserves judgement
Ulrich Mabunda (41) appeared in the Mpumalanga High Court on Monday to appeal against the refusal to grant him bail by the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on June 4.
The spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority, Monica Nyuswa, confirmed that judgement has been reserved.
Ulrich faces a charge of murder after he allegedly shot his 39-year-old wife, Tebogo, 10 times, killing her, before turning the gun on himself in an apparent attempt to end his life.
The incident took place in Stonehenge on May 14.
